Beat Addikts is a community initiative that brings together young dancers from the areas of Northern Maryland, Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, to celebrate dance under the goal of networking, positivity and unity.

The motto emphasizes that while we all dance and train at different studios, we all do so for the same reason, we love to dance. In a world where negativity runs rampant, we aim to bring together like minded families in a welcoming atmosphere. These kids not only meet dancers from other studios, they perform right next to them. Love your studio. Respect your studio. One Beat, One Love is about showing up anywhere and cheering on EVERYONE like you would your best friend!

Beat Addikts began as a Hip Hop company but in the last few years has transitioned to branding themselves as a dance entertainment company. While many of our dances are still rooted in Hip Hop foundation, we introduced Classical Technique to our repertoire as well. However, the high majority of our pieces are "open", allowing our amazing team of choreographers the ability to just create! We ask our dancers to come in with an open mind and willing to explore the creativity and vast array of movement this team has to offer!

BAU puts on a showcase in the month of August each year by bringing together students from multiple studios, organizations, teams and crews that perform as one. We are not in competition with our wide-range network nor do we own a facility. Our studios and supporters are 100% behind the Beat Addikt motto and cause, making friendships and bridging gaps.
Rehearsals for BAU are once a month and we work sufficiently with our studios on making sure we do not overlap with their performance and competition schedules. The Beat Addikts' dance commitments to their studios always come first and that is something that we live by. We would not be in business without them.

Beat Addikts has a performance team that carries our motto to local charity events and performances but we are happy to host two events of our own! CommUNITY Dance Fest puts the dancers first and offers up scholarships to local dancers and DelAWAREness is our annual charity event, having raised $240,000 to date for Autism Delaware.
United is the largest word in our logo because our number one mission is to show the power of positivity and what we can accomplish when we work together!
